We know you have spent thousands of hours and many dollars setting up your alpaca farm, researching about how to properly take care of  your precious herd, getting the hang of herd health, best feed, forages, breeding choices and figuring out breeding timing along with safe birthings, farm and herd protection, scooping and where to make your collection pile and how to take a vacation and keep everyone alive and thriving until you return.  The very last thing you should need to worry over is if your herd is warm enough.  

But alas, if you live in cold winter climates the worry never leaves you - are they ok, will they go inside on their own, should they be locked in during the snowstorm, will the water pipes freeze, are they too cold, have I done enough for them?

A Cria Coat will fit your alpaca properly with easy adjustability.  For safety there are no plastic or metal  attachments, zippers, buckles, or ropes to fool around with.  Even the most difficult alpaca will be coated or uncoated very quickly due to the "stickest" hook and loop feature that keeps the coat from slipping or shifting.  Although we cannot guarantee that you may have an alpaca houdini in your midst, Cria Coats stay on properly.  

Cria Coats are made with high quality, heavy duty,  water-resistant fabrics  that are breathable for the health of your alpacas.  This means they should not be sweating and then get chilled while wearing a Cria Coat.  

Every Cria Coat is made to order - hand cut and constructed using a heavy duty sewing machine.  Cria Coats are washable in your home machine using a very mild soap, but please do not use any bleach or fabric softener.  Line drying is recommended.
